in quotes; "Since 1998, Arizing has been independently cultivating a dedicated fan base by a strict routine of performing and promoting. March of 2002 marked Arizing's debut full length release on Medea Records entitled 'Womb' produced by Tony Hamera (Factory 81). Their August 2003 release, 'Advance', produced by Grant Mohrman (Celldweller, Jettared) and mastered by Tom Baker (Stone Temple Pilots, Marilyn Manson, Taproot) sets a new standard for the sound of Arizing by clearly portraying their truest capabilities and representing the direction of their music. The opening track, 'False Semester', is a melody-rich upbeat ballad that demonstrates the full rock essense of Arizing. Conversely, 'The Big L (Falling In Love Again)' leans towards 80's pop, and exhibits Arizing's inherent knack for solid song writing and strong vocal hooks. 'Pinky Swear' and 'Sour Patch' represent their more prominent aggressive side, yet still validates the undeniable fact that Arizing is not your average alt/rock or pop/punk outfit."

here's arizing in my own words...

THE LINEUP CONSISTS OF:

Arizing is an alt-metal/emo rock band, which is... what it said on LeFT's page. it's actually nu-metal, but it changed when they released Advance. their singer had changed at least twice...and guess what? MATT'S back in the fucking picture. oh my god. Matt. anyways, if you don't know Matt, keep reading or go to the about leFT page.

unfortunately, Matt was not the one who mixed Arizing's albums this time. i wish i could've heard more of his great mixing - but hey, at least he started taking clients in 2009!!!!

LITTLE YELLOW DIFFERENT

in 1998, these wacky little dudes formed, taking a variety of inspiration from Deftones, Incubus, Depeche Mode, Tool, Alice in Chains, Beatles, Ultraspank, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Helmet. whatever the hell Dennis said.

Matt was not in this band at the time either! he was too busy singing in his other band, LeFT... wait i already said that. oops.

surprisingly, i realised i have a lot more information about Arizing than i do about LeFT despite me seeing it being talked about more online now... wow, it's been a long time since i've edited this page, huh???

WOMB

woohoo! it's Arizing's first release!

unfortunately, i didn't contact Matt about Arizing in anyway before all this, so i'm gonna have to spit out a ton of info i collected here and hope it's good enough this time.

i think when it came to Arizing's music style after LYD, Matt had a much more different style compared to when he was still doing stuff in LeFT. the only reason why Womb still sounded 'nu-metal' is mainly because of their previous frontman, Jason Revior.

Matt was much more drawn on. um. sappy love songs. which was a very crazy distance after taking a break from LeFT after less than a year, honestly.

but apart from that, Matt's music, his writing style, voice, and whatnot is extremely creative! if only he was. idk. more popular.

ADVANCE

Arizing's second release, an EP instead of an album.

in Advance, Arizing decided they'd move towards a more 'poppy' style of music, sounding a bit more MCR than before.

once again, Matt is a creative little guy with his music. this EP consists of four great sounding songs. False Semester & Sour Patch are my personal favourites, however the whole album is amazing.

in the duration this record's recording and release, they made extra songs. these were titled "Terror", "Peace", "Static", "Right Now", "Miles Away", "The Hourglass", and "One Straight Line".

while One Straight Line, The Hourglass, and Miles Away were all played live & have a recording, none of the other songs were heard or ever recording, except for Static, which has it's own official recording (Matt stated). as of now, i'm not sure if Static has had it's recorded released anywhere.

cool personal fact, i have had this record on cd for many months now!
